diversity of the campus.
A scholarship for seniors of an accredited Utah high school, public or private, who
will be entering freshmen. Recipients are chosen based on cumulative GPA, ACT/SAT scores,
and on the student's ability to contribute to the diversity of the campus.
Value: A $5,000 waiver will be applied toward the cost of tuition annually ($2,500 per semester) for a maximum of eight semesters, or until you receive a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first.

|Additional Application Requirements:||Due to limited funds, the University can offer awards only to the top applicants whose admissions materials are received on time. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that all required documents are on file at the University by the December 1 priority application date. Any remaining Merit Scholarship funds will be awarded to applicants who have completed the admissions process between Dec. 2 and Feb. 1.|

Need based housing scholarship available. Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the February 1 Financial Aid Priority Application Date and qualify for financial need.|
|Terms:||Renewable. Your scholarship may be renewed each year, provided you maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA and complete twenty-four (24) credit hours during the two semesters of the academic year (12 hours each, fall and spring semesters), twenty (20) of which must be graded. We will review your standing for these requirements after the completion of your second, fourth, and sixth semesters.|

|Other Requirements:||Merit scholarship consideration will be based on the ACT/SAT test score with which students are admitted. Results from tests taken after the official October test date, initial or retakes, will not be taken into consideration for scholarship eligibility.|
