The Net Price Calculator (NPC) provides an early estimate of what a new first-year, undergraduate student can expect to pay to attend the University of Utah. It has limited applicability for graduate, transfer, readmitted, continuing, international or part-time students; such students should instead contact the University Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid for assistance with complete information on estimated costs and estimated available scholarships and financial aid programs.
Because of ongoing challenges with the new FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the results of this NPC serve as an application for the For Utah Scholarship. Keep in mind you also will need to have a completed Admissions file by December 1 and complete/submit the FAFSA by March 1; but your first step will be to complete this Net Price Calculator and save and submit the results to the University of Utah.

This calculator is not an official application for financial aid and is not a substitute for applying for financial aid. The student must complete the FAFSA to determine eligibility for federal student aid funds, as well as some state and institutional need-based aid programs.
