Incoming non-resident freshman students for 2017-18 must have at least a 3.0 cumulative High School GPA.

Requirements: Fulltime Status, Merit
Out-of-state Requirement
Other Residency Requirement: Scholarship will not be renewed if the student gains Utah residency for tuition purposes.
Minimum GPA: At least a 3.0 cumulative High School GPA
Application Information: No separate application required. Complete the admissions process by December 1. Only applicants, who have completed the admissions process by December 1, by having submitted all required documents, will be considered for the Freshman Academic Achievement Award for Non-Residents.

Additional Application Requirements: Awards based on the following ACT/SAT(evidence reading, writing, and math) scores: ACT 26-27/SAT 1240-1300: $6,000; ACT 28-29/SAT 1310-1380: $8,000; ACT 30-32/SAT 1390-1480: $10,000; ACT 33-36/SAT 1490-1600: $12,000. SAT scores are from the new test, administered beginning March 2016.
Award: Annual Award: Varies. 
Terms: Renewable - Renewable for eight semesters. Must meet renewal requirements.
Deadline: December 1
Other Requirements: Merit scholarship consideration will be based on the ACT/SAT test score with which students are admitted. Results from tests taken after the official October test date, initial or retakes, will not be taken into consideration for scholarship eligibility. Eight semester renewable scholarship. Deferrable.
