The University of Utah provides a scholarship that awards resident transfer students who have demonstrated academic excellence at their previous higher education institution. The Transfer Achievement Award provides a $2000 ($1,000 each semester) award per year, for up to two years (4 semesters). As the flagship campus and the only tier-one public university in Utah designated as having very high research activity by the Carnegie Foundation, the University of Utah provides an unparalleled experience for Utah students. These scholarship awards will be offered as funding allows with consideration of transfer GPA and transfer hours accepted by the University of Utah.

In-state Requirement
Minimum GPA: 3.5 cumulative transfer GPA
Application Information: No separate application required. Only those who have completed the admissions process by February 1, by having submitted all required documents, will be considered.

Award: Annual Award: Two Year Award: A sum of $2,000 ($1,000 each semester) per year for a maximum of four semesters or until the student receives a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first. Awards will be offered as funding allows.
Terms: Renewable - Full time enrollment (minimum of 12 hours) is required for disbursement of any scholarship award. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and complete 24 hours of course work (20 of which must be graded) during their first two semesters. Grades are reviewed after the second semester.
